With surprise three-pointer, Manny Pacquiao surpasses his PBA career high

LIKE how he stuns the crowd when he knocks down an opponent in the ring, Manny Pacquiao did the same on the court on Sunday when he knocked down a three-pointer for Mahindra just before halftime of their PBA Governors’ Cup game against Blackwater.

The eight-division boxing champion and Enforcer playing-coach caught a pass from Jason Ballesteros on the right wing then launched a long one over the outstretched arms of Kyle Pascual that found its target and sent the Smart-Araneta Coliseum rocking.

Pacquiao thus surpassed not just his career-high, but career total of three points after also scoring on a free throw in a previous possession in his almost four minutes on the court.

He entered the game again with a Mahindra win a foregone conclusion and played the final two minutes, throwing up an airball from three-point land and hauling down one rebound.

The Enforcer won, 97-88. - Spin Ph
