Rain or Shine Completed Their Cinderella Story [Video]

Rain or Shine completed their cinderella story after a bad start and several changes of reinforcement. Paul Lee was named the finals MVP.

To make a long story short, this Commissioner's Cup, they choose Wayne Chism to be their import for the third time, although, Wayne was injured his hamstring during the game vs Meralco Bolts on February 17, 2016, he was doubtful to play for the rest of the conference. They choose Antoine Wright to replace Chism but he was replaced by Mo Charlo on March 8, 2016. While approaching the playoffs, they choose Pierre Henderson-Niles to replace the undersized Charlo to have a match-up against their possible opponents in the playoffs including Greg Slaughter & June Mar Fajardo, Henderson-Niles is a 6'8" center to help the team in the 5 spot. They finished 5th place in the standings.

When playoffs begin, they sweep Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the quarterfinals and finally they beat San Miguel Beermen in 4 games at the best-of-five semifinals. They face the Alaska Aces in the finals and finally they won their 2nd championship in their franchise history in 6 games.
